Just yesterday we were talking to you about the new gaming monitor Philips Evnia 31M2N8800a 32-inch model with 4K resolution QD-OLED panel equipped with a 240 Hz refresh rate. It seems that the company is expanding its catalog of panels for gamers and today it has announced another QD-OLED model, the Philips Evnia 34M2C6500.

This time the resolution drops to 3,440 x 1,440 pixels, making it clear that this is an “UltraWide” or Ultra Widescreen monitor with a 21:9 format. It is in this type of format where the curvature of the panels begins to make practical sense, so it is not surprising that this model has a curvature in the panel, although it is quite slight with a radius of 1,800R.

The 34-inch QD-OLED panel promises 0.03ms response times and features a maximum refresh rate of 175Hz. With this panel technology, HDR support is a given, and there we have the VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 certification, in addition to the VESA ClearMR 9000 which guarantees the absence of motion blur.

It promises SDR brightness of just 250 nits on 100% of the screen, but can go up to 450 nits with HDR on 10% of the pixels, and up to 1,000 nits at a time on 3% of the total pixels. It also promises a minimum color coverage of 99.3% of the DCI-P3 range with 97.8% Adobe-RGB and 100% sRGB. It also does not lack Ambilight technology with rear RGB projection.

The price of Philips Evnia 34M2C6500 is 869 eurosa fairly competitive amount.
