June 26 (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least fifteen people have been killed and dozens more injured as a result of an airstrike by Israeli Army forces on a residential building located in Beit Lahia, in the north of the Gaza Strip.

The attack was launched last night, according to the Al Jazeera television network this Wednesday. Dozens of people were in the building, Palestinian media have reported.

The town of Beit Lahia, near the border with Israel, has been the scene of extensive attacks by Israeli forces in recent weeks, who have also widely deployed infantry on the ground.

On the other hand, throughout the day there have been more attacks by the Israeli Army on the neighborhoods of Tel al Hawa, Zeitun and Sabra, located in Gaza City, as well as in the city of Khan Yunis and in the camps of displaced from Bureij and Nuseirat.

Meanwhile, the large-scale ground operation of Israeli forces on Rafah continues. In the last few hours, the Army has claimed to have killed a Hamas militiaman, who has been identified as being in charge of delivering weapons through the border crossing that connects the city with Egypt.
