12 people arrested in an operation against a neo-Nazi group in Bologna

Italian security forces have arrested twelve people in the city of Bologna in an operation against a neo-Nazi and supremacist organization that ultimately sought to reverse the current system to establish a new regime based on the Aryan race.

The authorities have a list with a total of 25 investigated – between 19 and 76 years old -, all of them linked to the Werewolf Division, a name that evokes the clandestine unit of the Nazi SS with which Adolf Hitler’s regime was searching for perpetrate sabotage and apply guerrilla tactics.

The organization used Telegram as the main recruitment channel, according to the official note collected by the AdnKronos agency. The authorities have seized propaganda and objects linked to fascism during searches carried out during the operation.
