Zotac will launch a computer with solid-state AirJet fans

ZOTAC has shown today a new mini computer that has a great particularityand it is that, instead of having traditional fans, whether axial or radial, it features AirJet solid-state fans that allow the company to install much more powerful hardware than they otherwise could.

It would not be the first MiniPC that we see with passive cooling, but this would also imply the installation of much less powerful processors than usual, such as chips from the Celeron or Atom rangewhich generally have lower performance than the Intel Core i3 that we find inside the Zotac PI430AJ.

As we can see in the image on these lines, it is an extremely compact unit, something that these solid-state fans help with, since in addition to having a consumption more or less equivalent to a normal fan, their thickness is extremely reduced, something that also helps to increase the static pressure that they can generate.

This is interesting, as they are also allowed to get fresh air from any opening they can find, so if this fact is allowed for during the design of the computer, You can have a filtered air intake without affecting the performance of the refrigeration system, thus reducing the maintenance to be carried out.
