With the aim of having a shared learning space about the use of the WhatsApp mobile application, within the communication networks for the technical extension of the prioritized production chains, this workshop will be held to exchange experiences and impressions on participation in chat groups and instant messaging. The space is designed to promote practice and collaboration, focusing on the use of mechanisms to manage networks, understanding that WhatsApp is a tool for the benefit of the network and not the network itself.
This training instance, aimed at extension technicians and Colombian peasant producers, is organized by a team from the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) and the Secretariat of Agricultural Development of the Government of Risaralda of Colombia, with the support of the Department National Planning Department (DNP) of that country, within the framework of the productive and territorial development project, part of the Facility for Development in Transition, executed by ECLAC with the support and financing of the European Union.
