WhatsApp will allow you to synchronize status updates with Facebook stories

7 Apr. (Portaltic/EP) –

WhatsApp works on a functionality -initially intended for iOS devices- that will allow users to synchronize the platform with Facebook to share your status updates in the stories section of this social network automatically.

At the moment, this servicedeveloped by Meta, allows you to post status updates on your other social network on Facebook, since it introduces the ‘Share to Facebook story’ button under the Status once a file has been shared this way.

By clicking on this option, the instant messaging platform offers the option of manually move that file to the profile photo, to the news feed, to the Facebook groups or to the stories.

WhatsApp is working in a new feature that will automate this process for certain status updates, which will be turned off by default and has already begun testing on iOS, via version, released through the TestFlight beta program.

It introduces a new section in the Status Privacy Settings menu, which offers the option to ‘Share status updates across all accounts’ and allows enter a Facebook profile.

This has been verified by WABetaInfo, which has commented that this function “will allow users to save time and effort by manually sharing your status updates, as this will be shared as a Facebook story without leaving WhatsApp.”

Because it is a feature that the company is currently developing, it is not yet available for testers with devices with iOS operating system.
