WhatsApp optimizes the app for tablets with a split screen

March 3 (Portaltic/EP) –

WhatsApp is working on improvements in the tablet version of its instant messaging service that will allow access to a split view that optimizes use on larger screens.

The application has been working on its optimized version for tablets for months, as part of the secondary devices that allow you to link to use the account without having to have the phone connected to the Internet.

The latest beta version of WhatsApp for android tablets (2.23.5.9) optimizes the interface for the larger screen, as instead of offering a full screen view of the chat, it now displays a split or split view.

as they explain at WABetainfo, the interface is now divided into two parts: on the left is shown the main page of the ‘app’, with the Communities, Chats, States and Calls tabs; and to the right the open conversation.
