Square Enix announced at the State of Play that it would bring the franchise back Valkyrie with Valkyrie Elysium, a new delivery action RPG. A few hours ago the PlayStation Store leaked some details of the game, which have just become official.
Square Enix reported that Valkyrie Elysium will meet the expected release window, since the release will be added to the tight release schedule of September, the month in which several games from the company will go on sale.
Valkyrie Elysium It will arrive on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on September 29 both in digital and physical format. The title will arrive on PC (via Steam) weeks later, precisely on November 11.

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth will return with a port
There is better news for fans of Valkyriesince Square Enix also announced the adaptation or port of Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth, the title of the series that debuted on the PlayStation Portable (PSP). According to the details, this new version will include the option to go back in time, quick save and visual presets.
The title will be available separately for ¥2750 JPY (no Western price announced) or with the digital deluxe edition of Valkyrie Elysiumaccording to a press release (via Gematsu).
The standard edition of Valkyrie Elysium will be priced at $59.99 USD, while the digital deluxe edition will be $74.99 USD and will include Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth and DLC equipment Svartaljr: Sword of the Goddess of the Underworld. This latest edition for PC, as it does not include Valkyrie Profile: Lennethwill be sold for $64.99 USD.
In case you missed it: the PlayStation Store also leaked the announcement of another Square Enix RPG that remains undisclosed.
As if that were not enough, a collector’s edition was also revealed that will cost ¥8580 JPY and will include 1 physical copy of the game for PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, 1 code for Valkyrie Profile: Lenneththe art book The Art of Valkyrie Elysiumthe book with the script of Valkyrie Elysium1 disc with the soundtrack of the game and a couple of acrylic cards with the characters of the title.
Unfortunately, this latest edition has only been confirmed for Japan and will be sold through the Square Enix online store for the regionwhich does not ship outside of Japan.
