April 18 () –

The Ukrainian authorities confirmed this Thursday the success of an air attack the day before against a Russian Air Force airfield located in Dzhankoi, on the Crimean peninsula: “It was an excellent operation. There will be more,” said the spokesman. of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense, Andrei Yusov.

“What happened yesterday in Dzhankoi was an excellent operation by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with very good results (…) there will surely be more,” said Yusov, who welcomed the “panic” that the attack has generated among the Russians, accustomed, he said, to the Kremlin's “propaganda.”

According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, four S-400 anti-aircraft missile launchers, three radar stations and various military equipment and equipment have been destroyed as a result of this operation.

The attack on Dzhankoi took place on the same day that Ukraine suffered one of the deadliest attacks on a residential area in recent months. At least three Russian missiles hit near the center of Chernigov, leaving at least 18 dead and more than 80 injured, according to the latest report.
