Ubisoft has confirmed that Beyond Good and Evil 2 It is still in development after the video game company announced the cancellation of several projects and the delay once again of Skull and Bones.
The developer announced the new Beyond Good and Evil title in 2008 and shared a first video preview during his conference at E3 in 2017. A year later at the same fair he showed a new trailer and in 2021, the Twitter account of Ubisoft Belgium posted a new image.
From the game it is known that it will be a prequel and that Ubisoft wants players to get involved in the development of the game through a specific program called the ‘Space Monkey Program’.
Now, a Ubisoft spokesperson has confirmed that work on it is continuing. “Beyond Good and Evil 2 development is underway and the team is working hard to fulfill his ambitious promise“, has indicated to Eurogamer.
This confirmation comes a week after the company announced its plans for the fiscal year 2023-2024 which will start in apriland in which he announced the cancellation of three more projects in development not yet announced, after having canceled another four games in the summer, and the delay of the launch of the naval battle title Skull and Bones.
