Twitter It will only show publications from Twitter Blue subscribers in the ‘For you’ recommendations section, a measure that will be implemented as of April 15.
Currently, in the ‘For you’ chronology you can see a sequence of tweets from accounts and topics that users follow and are of interest to, as well as functions for the administration of this section, as the platform recalls in their website.
This format will change as of April 15 since, as the owner of the social network has advanced in his profile, Elon Musk. “Only verified accounts will be eligible to be on ‘For You’ recommendations.”
This means that the platform will only offer posts from Twitter Blue users, your paid subscription mode –which in Spain is priced at 8 euros– and which is the only one that includes the blue tick.
According to the also founder of Tesla, he has justified that he has made this decision because “it is the only realistic way to cope to swarms of advanced artificial intelligence robot bots.” “Otherwise, it’s a losing battle,” he added.
Likewise, Musk has indicated that voting in the platform’s surveys –an option currently available to all Twitter users in the iOS and web versions–, “will require verification for the same reason“.
