Twitter has updated its rules about content that users can publish on the platform by entering their ‘Violent Speech’ policywhich prohibits publications with threats, that glorify violence or wish harm to other people.
As stressed by the social network run by Elon Musk, Twitter is a platform where people can express themselves, find out what is happening and discuss global issues. In this sense, it is advocated for a “zero tolerance” towards violent speech to “guarantee the safety of users and avoid the normalization of violent actions”.
Based on this, Twitter has incorporated a new policy with which he warns that, in the event that a user publishes ‘tweets’ with content that is considered violentthe platform will proceed to suspend account. For less serious violations, you may be ask the user to remove the content in question before you can access your account again.
This is how your new Violent Speech policy, as the platform has announced through a ‘Tweet’ in the account TwitterSafetyin which he explains that they have implemented “some changes regarding violent content and similar language.”
Twitter has a zero-tolerance approach towards Violent Speech, and in most cases, we will suspend any account violating this policy. For less severe violations, we may require you to delete the content before you can access your account again.

specifically the Violent Speech policy prohibits threats, intent to harm, glorification of violence and incitement to violence. Regarding violent threats, the social network refers to threateningar with dealing physical damage to others, for example, making reference to killing, torturing, sexually assaulting or hurting any other person. It also alludes to threats against homes and civilian shelters.
On the other hand, according to details, it cannot be “desire, expect or express desire for harm”. This includes expecting others to die, suffer illness, tragic incidents, or experience other physically harmful consequences.
According to the incitement to violence, users may not “promote or encourage” acts of violence or harm, such as encouraging other users to harm themselves, commit crimes, including war crimes or genocide.
