Technology and social media company Meta has unveiled its new Meta AI assistant, which will be available in seven languages, including Spanish. This tool will be powered by the company’s generative Artificial Intelligence.

It will be available in 20 countries, including Mexico, Argentina and Colombia. It will also be available on the company’s messaging apps, such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger and Facebook and also on the web.
The update is highlighted by the expansion of language availability, which includes Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi, Romanized Hindi script, and Italian, and It can be used in 22 other countries, including Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru and Cameroon.

It is also powered by a new Llama 3.1 405B model that incorporates precisely those multilingual capabilities, but also improved reasoning in mathematical and programming matters.
On the other hand, they added new tools such as ‘Imagine me’, which generates an image with the user as the protagonist in the scene that they request through a text description. There are also other editing tools to add, modify or delete elements of an image.

Finally, Intelligence will be included in Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses and will be available next month for Quest virtual reality headsets in the United States and Canada.
