Each country of the European Union (EU) establishes by law how much money a traveler requires at least to survive a number of days in that territory.
Normally, this information is requested from people who are identified by the authorities as suspects, it is not a question that they ask all tourists. However, it is important to be clear about the amount of money with which you will be supported in the event that immigration requests the information.

Avoid surprises! Go prepared for your trip to Europe, bring a clear budget for accommodation, transportation and food at least. Here we show you the requirements established in some EU countries:
– Spain
Will need 108 euros per day of stay. For a stay of at least 9 days you would need minimum 972 euros.
– Greece
To enter the country each person must have 50 euros per day. If the period is up to 5 days requires minimum of 300 euros and if he is a minor, the amount is reduced by half.

– France
In this case you have to have 120 euros per day and per personbut it should be clarified that if you have a hotel reservation or some other accommodation that the authority can corroborate, you should only have 65 euro.
– Italy
The amounts that you must have in case you want to travel to the country are:
1. From 1 to 5 days, 270 euro
2. 6 to 10 days, 45 euros per day.
3. From 10 days to 20 days, a fixed amount of 52 euros plus 37 euros per day and person
4. For more than 20 days, a fixed amount of 210 euros plus 28 euros per day and person.
– Netherlands
To enter this European region you must prove that each person counts with 55 euros per day. In case you are going to pay the money for someone else, you must show in an official document that you assume the financial responsibility of the other person.
