Since their introduction in the PlayStation 3 era, trophies have become one of the most iconic elements of Sony consoles. Despite lacking a really useful feature, thousands of fans want to get as many of these virtual gadgets as possible. If you’re one of those people, you’ll be happy to know that a game with a very easy Platinum has just been released.
It’s no secret that you need to invest dozens of hours to get all the trophies in most games. This makes collecting them a titanic task and, on many occasions, boring. Can you imagine that you can achieve a Platinum in a matter of minutes?

Although the above seems like a joke, it is possible thanks to Stroke the Dog, a game that has just arrived on the PS Store for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. What happens is that this title has 71 trophies that you will get in less than 10 minutes. Just don’t expect it to be a fun or exciting experience.
We say this because this video game, if it can be called that, is very simple in all sections. Basically, all we have to do is press the “X” button to pet the dog on the screen. However, there is no special animation nor does a hand appear to caress the animal.

Are you a trophy hunter? Then Stroke The Dog is for you.
So, every time we press the button, it only increases the counter that is in the upper left part of the screen. Upon reaching certain figures, we will get trophies. If we pet the dog 2000 times we will unlock the Platinum, a task that should not take more than a handful of minutes.
“Dog: man’s (or woman’s) best friend. Not all of us are lucky enough to have one, but that shouldn’t mean you can’t pet one whenever you want. Get a real life (but not real) puppy in your living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, or wherever you have your TV. Pet him as many times as you like, and then pet him some more. Relax with a dog”, reads the official description of Stroke The Dog.
Now, how much does this game cost? At the time of writing these lines, it is possible to acquire it for the modest amount of $3.99 USD in the playstation store. Is it worth investing that money in a Platinum trophy? Well, that will depend on each person.
