Google wants Chrome to remain the browser of choice for most users, and is working on a series of changes that you might end up appreciating.
You could say that Mountain View wants to offer a redesign of Google Chrome, but without affecting most of the options it has.
They comment like this from 9to5google that It is intended to change the way the bookmarks, reading list and history columns are accessed that appear to the right of the browser.
After the changes are implemented, the side panel button that opens bookmarks by default will no longer be visible.
So, with these changes, the side panels remain available, and now you will be able to pin the reading list, bookmarks, history and so on, to a new section for immediate access in the space to the right of the address bar .
They comment that the bookmarks and the reading list are found in the additional three-dot menu, within bookmarks and lists, while the history is located a little higher.
Deactivating all extensions with a single click
It seems that Google is working in a new function for the browser that could be quite useful since it would allow us disable all extensions at once.
It seems that Google is reviewing some changes to the extensions menu, and after enabling a flag, a new option has been discovered in the menu that allows the user to disable all active extensions with a single click.
As you can see, they are small features, and they could even go unnoticed, but the truth is that they are going to make life a lot easier when it comes to organizing extensions or bookmarks in Chrome.
