Work culture is undergoing a new transformation

In addition to the challenge of implementing AI safely, 46% of CEOs consulted in Mexico said they intend to hire additional personnel for positions related to this technology that requires a higher level of specialization.

However, one of the most pressing problems they have encountered in this regard is that 55% said they have difficulty finding someone to fill those key technological positions. This means an extra need to retrain the workforce over the next three years.

And the implementation of technology not only represents a challenge at a technical level, but also one in terms of the company’s organizational culture and the way in which employees in different areas are able to understand the resources of Artificial Intelligence.

In this regard, the study details that more than half of CEOs in Latin America (57%) and Mexico (59%) recognize that cultural change is more important than overcoming technical challenges to become a data-driven organization. .

While managers say the adoption of Generative AI is critical to the success of their companies, they are also aware that technologies are changing faster than people can adapt.
