With the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S23 already past, The company’s next big launch is obviously its pair of foldables under the names Z Flip and Z Fold, which respectively correspond to their vertically and horizontally folding terminals. Being high-end devices, It is to be hoped that their configurations are up to the task, and according to what we read in Phone Arena, they will be.
However, those who are waiting for new storage capacities will be disappointed, since the capacities will be the same as those of the current generation. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 will feature capacities between 256GB and 1TB, while the Galaxy Z Flip 5 will have capacities between 128GB and 512GB.
The biggest difference on this front will have to do with the technology of this storage, and it is that although the current generation of Samsung foldables makes use of UFS 3.1 memory, the next generation will use UFS 4.0 chips, faster chips that we won’t find in the 128GB Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Unfortunately, the RAM memory capacities are unknown, which will probably also remain unchanged, as well as the prices of these terminals.
