The United Nations humanitarian representative has highlighted the situation in Jabalia, warning that “people are trapped under the rubble, without rescuers being able to reach them,” and that “tens of thousands of Palestinians are being forcibly displaced.” “. “These atrocities must stop,” he declared.

Thus, Msuya has demanded that International Humanitarian Law be respected and that civilians, the sick and injured, and health personnel be protected; while urging Israel to “comply with the provisional orders of the International Court of Justice.”

Along the same lines, the humanitarian coordinator for the Occupied Palestinian Territory, Muhannad Hadi, has also focused on “the tightening of the siege of Jabalia” during “the last two weeks” and on “the threat to life” that this represents. .

“Gaza needs more functioning health facilities, not less,” claimed Hadi, aware of the lack of supplies, beds, medicines and fuel in the region’s hospitals.

“Israeli forces continue to ignore an urgent request from the United Nations to access northern Gaza and help rescue dozens of wounded trapped in the rubble.
