April 19 () –

The United Nations humanitarian coordinator for Ukraine, Denise Brown, has condemned the attack this Friday by the Russian Army in the city of Dnipro and other towns in eastern Ukraine, which has left at least nine dead and thirty injured.

In a statement, Brown denounced that this aggression is “an example of a serious and reprehensible disregard for human life” and noted that “International Humanitarian Law protects civilians and civilian infrastructure.”

In addition, he assured that humanitarian workers from the city are already on the ground helping those affected.

The attack has damaged homes and left at least nine dead, three of them children, as reported shortly after the event by the Ukrainian Prosecutor's Office on its Telegram account.

This aggression occurred “only” two days after Russian troops attacked the Ukrainian city of Chernigov, leaving 18 dead and 80 dead, Brown recalled.
