TikTok Notes interface -X (TWITTER)
April 18 (Portaltic/EP) –
TikTok has announced that its photo and text mobile app TikTok Notes is in the “early stages of experimentation” and that some users can now download and try it in both Australia and Canada.
This version of TikTok is presented as a photography application that allows you to display photo posts previously shared on the platform account, as well as new image posts.
Users of the social network began receiving a notification earlier this month indicating that TikTok Notes would arrive “soon,” as social media analyst Matt Navarra announced.
The company has now announced that it is “in the early stages of experimenting with a dedicated space for photo and text content” with the mobile app TikTok Notes, as noted in a publication in X (formerly Twitter) from your TikTokComms account.
TikTok Notes, which “is designed for those who want to share and interact” with other users through photographic material, is now available for download and in a limited trial format for some users in Australia and Canada.
The 'app', which allows users to link their account with that of TikTok, has two 'feeds' of content. Is about 'For you' and 'Following' -the same ones offered by the original application- and the images can be shared individually or through carousels of several photographs. Likewise, they will be displayed in two columns in Pinterest style.
For the moment, the Asian company has not announced if it hopes to bring TikTok Notes to more regions once it passes this first phase of testing or when it will do so in that case.
