The television remains the preferred device for watching content in Spanish homes with children

Televisions remain as the preferred device to watch content in 90 percent of Spanish homes of families with childrenwho prefer this type of screen to watch series or movies compared to tablets or smartphones.

This has been revealed by the data collected in the study on 'Television Consumption Habits' carried out by LGin which the Korean technology company has collected some of the habits of Spanish users when watching content, specifically, in homes with children.

Although more than 90 percent of the users under 36 years old they have replaced conventional television programming with streaming platformsthe television continues to be the most chosen device to watch different types of content.

It is a preference that is accentuated in homes with childrenso that in nine out of ten homes With children, the television is used to watch their favorite content, in front of a 40 percent who choose the tablet and a 36 percent who go to their smartphone, as LG has shared in a statement.

In this sense, being a support used by children, the 57 percent of users have indicated that they have parental control functions activated on the television, such as the viewing time of content.

Following this line, the 54 percent of those surveyed also affirm that they try to watch content together with minors on the television. In this way, users can guarantee a audiovisual consumption with appropriate content for your children, an issue that worries three out of four families surveyed.
