Asus ROG Ally X – ASUS

Asus has announced the availability of its new ROG Ally console, which includes an 80Wh battery – twice the capacity of the previous model – and comes with a system that improves airflow, and is now available for purchase for 899 euros in Spain.
The company presented this device a few weeks ago, at the annual Computex 2024 computing fair, where it stressed that it was not a new generation of the console, but an updated version of the original.
This means that the update incorporates a series of features that improve its battery, storage, RAM, connectivity and design, as it announced in May.
In this way, ROG Ally X arrives with a battery with twice the capacity of its predecessor and goes from 40Wh to 80Wh capacity. This ensures longer gaming sessions without having to plug in the device for charging.
The RAM, meanwhile, has increased its capacity to 24GB of LPDDR5X-7500 memory and has greater bandwidth. And in internal storage, it has gone from the 512GB of the previous model to 1TB PCIe Gen 4.
The console also features fans with blades that are 50 percent thinner, which improves airflow and cools both the internal components and the touch screen, which is up to 6º cooler, as explained in a press release.
