The Pokémon Company announces a new type of Poké Ball

Pokemon It continues to grow and never ceases to amaze. A few months ago the 2 new games in the series debuted and weeks ago it was confirmed that their anime as we know it would cease to exist. Well, a mysterious novelty related to Pokéballs has just been announced.

In the world Pokemon there are artifacts that help capture the more than 1000 species in the wild. There are dozens of models with unique properties that make this task easy. The latest additions were the Beast Balls from Pokemon Sun & Moon and the old Feather Balls, Gigaton Balls, Great Balls, Poké Balls, Heavy Balls, Jet Balls, Leaden Balls, Wing Balls, and Ultra Balls from Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The list will apparently grow soon.

What is Roy’s mysterious Poké Ball in the new anime of Pokemon?

We say this because The Pokémon Company has just announced a new type of Poké Ball in the transmission of the most recent episode of the anime of Pokemonwhich is in the last few episodes celebrating Ash Ketchum’s final season as the lead.

They are taking advantage of some moments of the transmission to share new details of the following protagonists Liko and Roy. What drew attention is that in the recent segment it was revealed that Roy carries a new and mysterious Poké Ball that stands out for its extravagant design and could even be said steampunk. Apparently, this new type of Poké Ball will be exclusive to Roy and it is suggested that it will represent the key to his destiny.

On the other hand, something that has already been confirmed is that Roy is from Kanto, like Ash. On the contrary, Liko is from Paldea. With this information it is unlikely that these characters are brothers. Liko, for her part, is wearing a mysterious necklace that will also apparently play a big role in the new anime.

Each week more information will be released about the new anime, which will debut on April 14 in Japan.
