The video game developer PixelOpusowned by Sony Interactive Entertainment, has announced the cessation of its activity as of June 2as part of the result of a recent review process of the Japanese manufacturer in which its closure was decided.

PixelOpus is an American studio that launched in 2014 as part of Sony, managing to publish titles known as Entwined, released that same year, and Concrete Genie, which was published in 2019. Currently, he was working on a project in collaboration with Sony Pictures Animation.

The developer has announced its closure as of June 2as detailed in a Twitter postwhere he has indicated that “the adventure has come to an end”, but has also stressed that they look “towards new futures”.

Likewise, the PixelOpus team wanted to thank “the millions of passionate gamers” who have supported their “mission” to create “beautiful and imaginative games with heart”.
