Within the new CSS for Client platform that will give life to a large number of processors for smartphones, tablets, PCs and all types of devices; new ones are included Immortalis-G925 GPU.
This is ARM’s most powerful GPU to date, a model that can be configured with up to 24 cores given the improvements in scalability introduced in this new generation.
Up to 30% more gaming performance is capable of being delivered in a 14-core configuration versus a 12-core Immortalis-G720.
Performance has been especially improved in ray tracing in titles and scenes with more complex shapes that pose a challenge for ray tracing. In these situations, the Immortalis-G925 is capable of offering 52% more performance than its predecessor.
The performance improvement in graphic applications has also been extended to 37%, and 36% in tasks based on AI or Machine Learning. In this sense, we have collaborated with Unity to provide ML/AI acceleration to games that use its graphics engine.
All this with up to 30% lower consumption in AAA games.
Performance in games like Call of Dury Movbile is up to 72% more, with improvements in Diablo Immortal of 46% or in Gensing Impact of 49% among many others.
Since this new ARM CSS for Client platform is designed for the creation of SoCs for smartphones or laptops, ARM has worked with the Unreal Engine developers to bring the Unreal Engine desktop renderer to these GPUs, including Lumen Raytracing technology. in order to achieve desktop quality graphics on laptops and smartphones.
In addition to this Immortalis-G925, ARM has also announced the new Mali-G725 and Mali-G625 for more modest SoCs and with different core configurations.
