Against all odds, the live action series of The Last of Us on HBO turned out to be a faithful adaptation that captivated fans of the game and a new audience. Episode 6, which debuted last week, hinted at the future and revealed one of the most shocking moments in the original story. However, it also brought a couple of very interesting bugs.
A few days ago, we told you that the members of the production team appear briefly in one of the opening scenes of the sixth episode. This is a minor bug, but it breaks the immersion once you notice it. As expected, the community reacted with criticism and memes.

Of course, a slip is made by anyone. In fact, HBO has a rather peculiar history with those kinds of mistakes: from the infamous Starbucks glass of game of Thrones to the green glove of Viserys of House of the Dragon. However, it is interesting to discover that chapter 6 of The Last of Us has another error.
What happens is that a viewer detected a much more fun and terrifying slip in the last episode of the show starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. In one of the scenes, Ellie goes to a stable and meets a very cute horse.

What happens is that the user discovered that it is possible to see a hand peeking out from below and lightly touching the horse’s jaw. Although this image is worthy of the best creepypastas on the internet, it is most likely a member of the production that supports the animal.

Again, it’s a minor bug with no real impact on the series. Of course, it is likely that the most purists are disappointed in the little care that the editors took. It remains to be seen if HBO will tweak the episode and remove the staff members who sneaked into the scenes.
Despite those small slips, The Last of Us still dominates the popularity charts. According to a site survey I’m-A-Puzzleis already the most searched video game adaptation on the internet.
