Google is working on new features for its Contacts application that will prevent the user from forgetting to congratulate family and friends on their birthday, thanks to a new notification.
The novelty of Contacts in which Google works will allow individual contacts to select a notification to be activated on the occasion of their birthday, according to the specialized portal 9to5Google.
This new option will appear in the actions menu with the contact, where you can also delete, move to another account or block. In this way, when the user has entered the birthday date in the contact data, they will have the option of activating a reminder.
The function, as they explain, can only be activated manually for individual contacts, and there is still no option that allows it to be activated for several contacts simultaneously.
This novelty, more typical of a social network, has appeared in the latest version of the Google Contacts application, as the medium cited in the apk has been able to verify.
