In addition to Google Maps, another of the navigation applications most used by users is Waze and, as is logical, from time to time it suffers from the occasional failure resulting from an update.
However, today users who use waze on your Android mobile phone they are experiencing a failure through which the sound of the application becomes almost inaudible or imperceptible.
Since mid-December the alarm went off with an error in Waze. The ruling states that Waze audio has suddenly become almost impossible to hear.
It seems that the error appeared after installing a recent Waze update on Android.
That is, the sound continues to come out of the mobile speakers, but the volume is too low to be able to hear it well.
Users have been testing different solutions in recent days. What works, sometimes, is to clear the cache and reinstall Waze, but even if the sound comes back, it goes away again hours later.
Luckily, there is a solution that is working for everyone right now. You simply have to disable the “play sound to speaker” option.
This causes the Waze sound to be routed to the phone’s speaker even when the mobile phone is connected to the car via Bluetooth.
To take advantage of this option you must enter “settings”, then “voice and sound” and you must locate the option to “play sound to the speaker” and you must configure it to turn off.
Given the current dates, an official solution is not expected until early January, so you can go ahead with this solution if you are one of those affected.
