The cheapest iPad drops in price again: almost 200 euros less than its launch price, although it is left without a charger

10th generation iPad, analysis and opinion

Apple has done the unthinkable: reduce the price of the 10th Generation iPad twice in one yearreleased in 2022.

It started costing 579 euros. Last spring it was reduced to 429 euros, and now, by surprise, the 10.9-inch iPad has dropped in price to just 399 euros.

This places it at the level of mid/high-range Android tablets, and is a very interesting alternative, if you have always wanted to have an iPad with a large screen.

The iPad of 2022, cheaper than ever

Apple has renewed its entire range of tablets this year… except the classic iPad. Today it has presented a new iPad Mini for 2024, and this has surely been the cause of the 10-inch iPad discount.

The new iPad Mini has the processor A17 Pro with AI, plus 256 GB of storage. This left the classic iPad at a great disadvantage, with only 64 GB, hence the reduction, to make it more palatable.

He 10th Generation iPad It has a 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display, with an A14 Bionic chip processor. It has a 12 Mpx wide-angle camera and another 12 Mpx horizontal front ultra-wide angle camera.

It has Touch ID, and eliminates the classic home button. It is also compatible with the Apple Pencil stylus, and the Magic Keyboard Folio keyboard.

In our analysis of the 10th Generation iPad, which you can read in the card above, we concluded that its biggest handicap was its price. That handicap no longer exists, because now it costs almost 200 euros less.

The 10.9-inch iPad of 2022 has dropped in price to 399 euros. Apple will probably update it next year with an AI processor, but it will cost twice as much. Difficult decision… Or not, depending on how far your budget goes.
