The ACS Group, through a joint venture led by its subsidiary Dragados, has been selected by the US Navy for the execution of the Dry Dock 3 Replacement Project at the Pearl Harbor Hickam Joint Base in Hawaii for an amount of 2,839 million dollars (2,669 million euros).

The contract also includes some optional items, which if executed would take the budget up to 3,417 million dollars (3,212 million euros).

Prior to the construction contract, Dragados has been working closely with the US Navy since 2021, through a collaboration contract for the development of construction methods and technical innovations for the project.

The Dragados team has now been selected for the construction of this dry dock that will be used for the maintenance of future nuclear submarines. This project represents the first major construction contract awarded within an 8,000 million dollar program for shipyard improvement works in Hawaii and the state of Washington, in which Dragados will continue to participate as one of the five selected teams. by the US Navy
