SEVILLE, July 16. () –
The works councils of Abenewco 1 CPA, Abengoa Energía, Abengoa Agua, Inabensa CPA and Plataforma Solar Solucar have asked the Government of Spain and the Junta de Andalucía to specify “as soon as possible” the necessary financing to “preserve their activity and employment ” and have expressed “the urgent need” to provide a solution to the multinational.
Likewise, through a statement, they have demanded that the Ministry of Finance “urgently” suspend the embargoes carried out in recent days so that the group of companies “can maintain itself.”
On the other hand, they have demanded that the Court resolve “quickly” what was raised regarding the Matrix Agreement, so that “this unknown is cleared up as soon as possible.”
In relation to the proposed Agreement presented by the Board of Abengoa SA, the works committees of the Andalusian multinational have warned that “we will be vigilant” so that they “comply with all the requirements of the Law”, since in the current situation “we We can allow ourselves to waste time with proposals for an Agreement or offers that do not meet the minimum requirements demanded by it”.
In this sense, they have indicated that, in the event that the offers do not meet the minimum requirements and are admitted for processing, “we will be forced, to the extent of our possibilities, to appear in person during the process to present our formal opposition to the same, in defense of the interest of all employees and the activity of the Group.
Finally, they have expressed “our absolute rejection of the media pressures that are being directed through various communication media to the Judge in charge of resolving the appeal for reconsideration presented by the Board of Abengoa SA”.
