Thalia Heffernan took to Instagram over the weekend to soft launch her new boyfriend.
Irish influencer Thalia recently moved back to Ireland from New York, where she relocated in September 2023 after signing with IMG Models, joining the likes of Gigi Hadid and Kate Moss, in a major career move.
The former Dancing with the Stars’ contestant and her boyfriend Ryan McShane, a professional dancer who she met on the show, decided to call it quits during their time in the Big Apple.
Since her return home to Ireland, the model has seemingly found love again in the wake of her six-year romance ending, sharing glimpses of her new man in an Instagram reel.
Simply captioning the post with a rocket emoji, the first sighting of Thalia’s boyfriend shows her wholesomely diffusing her dark curly hair in the mirror.
Another moment in the video sees the couple attempting to recreate the iconic Dirty Dancing airlift while having fun in the pool at a luxurious holiday destination.
The final and most concrete piece of evidence that Thalia is in a relationship, shows her and her mystery man sharing a tender kiss while at a party on the beach.
Meanwhile, Thalia recently opened up to Extra.ie about coming to the decision that she was ready to come home to Ireland after enduring a ‘difficult’ time in New York.
‘There were some incredible moments and I met the most amazing people and experienced the most amazing things. At the time it was difficult. But when I look back now I’m like, “Yeah, that was actually pretty incredible.”
‘I think, like anything, when you take a risk like that, there’s always hope for the best and I did some amazing things,’ she said.
Thalia added: ‘I came home to renew my visa and I felt like I just didn’t want to go back; even though I love New York. There was so much that I missed while I was over [there]. You’re always kind of being dragged one way or the other. I have my dogs back here, which I missed every single second of every single day.
‘So now, being home, I have my best friends around me, my family, my sister’s just about to have twins so it kind of felt right to come home. I’m not closing the door by any stretch. I just kind of needed some time at home.’
