BERLIN, September 5 (Portaltic/EP) –
TCL has presented its new devices with NXTPAPER technology at the IFA fair in Berlin, including two smartphones from the TCL 50 Series: the TCL 50 Pro NXTPAPER 5G and the TCL 50 NXTPAPER 5G, as well as the new TCL NXTPAPER 14 tablet. A technology that allows you to go from a conventional screen (with automatic color adjustments) to one that imitates paper and saves consumption, revolutionizing the reading and viewing experience in this type of technological product.
The TCL 50 NXTPAPER smartphones aim to provide a comfortable viewing experience, reducing eye fatigue caused by prolonged use of screens. Thanks to its NXTPAPER 3.0 technology, the screen automatically adjusts to the ambient lighting conditions (with a maximum brightness of up to 550 nits), minimising the emission of harmful blue light and reducing reflections, making these devices “the perfect choice for viewing both indoors and outdoors”, as stated by TCL.
The company has enabled a dedicated key on the side of the new phones to activate the ‘Max Ink’ mode to transform the screen into an electronic ink format, designed to minimize eye fatigue. In addition, this mode facilitates long and comfortable reading sessions by not only reducing distractions but also silencing notifications, creating an ideal environment to immerse yourself in a good book or an article. With this mode activated, the battery can last up to 7 days with reading use and 26 days in standby mode.
“In a world where the digital age and content consumption are at an all-time high, consumers demand devices that offer high performance and ease of use. Thanks to our NXTPAPER technology, the TCL 50 NXTPAPER smartphones and the TCL NXTPAPER 14 tablet set a new standard in visual comfort and security, offering users an innovative and exciting way to stay connected in an ever-evolving digital environment,” said Jefferson Li, General Manager of TCL Mobile Phone Business.
Certified by TÜV, SGS1 and Eyesafe2, and equipped with a built-in eye care assistant, these devices promote healthy viewing habits. Combined with a 6.8-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, the TCL 50 NXTPAPER devices offer fluid and natural performance, ensuring that every scroll, swipe and action scene looks smooth.
AN ENTRY RANGE THAT DOES NOT NEGLECT THE CAMERA
The TCL 50 Pro NXTPAPER 5G, which goes on sale for 279.99 euros, and the TCL 50 NXTPAPER 5G, which starts at 229.99 euros, have a 108 MP rear camera. The bigger brother also incorporates a high-resolution 32 MP front camera, ideal for selfies and optimized for daily use.
The TCL 50 Pro NXTPAPER 5G tops out at 512GB of internal storage, ensuring fast access and efficient multitasking. This space allows users to store a large number of high-resolution photos and videos without compromising device performance. Additionally, both devices include essential features such as built-in multi-function NFC for more secure payments and robust security enhancements to protect user data.
The Pro version also allows you to add a Flip protective case and T-Pen3. These accessories not only provide protection to the device, but also improve its functionality, making tasks such as note-taking and sketching easier.
The event also featured the unveiling of the TCL NXTPAPER 14, the first tablet to incorporate NXTPAPER 3.0 technology. This device, which has a 14.3-inch screen and 2.4K resolution, will soon be available in Spain for 399.99 euros.
