Square Enix has several projects in development, some already revealed and others that are still in secret development. Precisely one of the last ones has been leaked and we know that it will bring back the RPG tactical battle series Tactics Ogre and thanks to new information we already know everything it will include.

The company still does not comment on it, but apparently it is a matter of time, since new information reinforces that the title is real and that it will arrive before the end of the year.

Tactics Ogre: Reborn will remaster a 2010 remake
We originally learned about this new project through a registration that Square Enix made last April. Months later the first leak appeared, which would confirm that Tactics Ogre I would return with some remastering or a remake.
Well, today, 1 month later, more information about the product came to light through the PS Deals offer site, in which more details of the project were recorded, including a description with all the news and even images.

Thanks to this new description we know that Tactics Ogre: Reborn It will be a remaster of the remake of the original version from 1995 that debuted only on PlayStation Portable in 2010.
According to the details, the title will have better graphics, artificial intelligence and sound, as well as updated game design. However, you should know that it will be rooted in the original experience and details of characters and settings from the 1995 installment will be preserved, but recreated in high definition.
For example, the scenes will have voices in English and Japanese, apart from the fact that the music was re-recorded with live performances.

Likewise, Tactics Ogre: Reborn It will feature faster battle pacing, auto-save, and revamped controls and UI, making it easier to get into the game. Another new feature is World Tarot, which will let players travel back in history without losing the power of their characters, allowing players to discover what would have happened if they had made a different choice. This can also be used during some battle, which will be very important to avoid mistakes that could cost the victory.
Because these leaks come from PlayStation sites, it is not known if the game will also come to other platforms, but so far it is only known that it will be compatible with PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. We will keep you updated.
