PlayStation VR 2 will go on sale in early 2023

24 Aug. (Portaltic/EP) –

Sony has presented a new wireless controller for the PlayStation 5 video game console, Dual Sense Edgewhich supports customization of the controls to suit the player’s needs.

DualSense Edge has been designed so that the gamer can completely remap the actions that are bound to the buttons or set a tighter stick sensitivity. It also allows you to recalibrate the so-called dead zones, the distance a joystick or trigger must travel for the game to recognize, thus increasing precision.

Customization of control settings supports the creation of different profiles, adapted to the needs of the player for each moment, among which you can jump during the game. The company details on his official blog that with the Fn button, you can access the user interface.

The customization that DualSense Edge allows is also transferred to the physical part of the controller, since it has interchangeable joystick caps and back buttons, admitting even the replacing the ‘joystick’ modules.

At the moment, the technology company has presented DualSense Edge for PS5 in the framework of the Gamecom fair, although the release date and other additional details of this controller will be shared later.
