() — Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello’s marriage, which lasted almost eight years, is officially coming to an end.
The couple shared the news with the media PageSix on Monday, through a statement: “We have made the difficult decision to divorce.”
“As two people who love and care very much for each other, we kindly ask that our privacy be respected at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives,” the statement read.

The Colombian, remembered for her role in “Modern Family”, married Manganiello in a luxurious wedding in Palm Beach in 2015, as revealed at the time by a series of photos that Vergara posted on her Instagram page.
The two actors began dating in 2014 and got engaged after six months of dating.

The last time Vergara shared A photo with Manganiello was in June to remember a previous vacation in Italy, but the “Magic Mike” star has been conspicuously absent from the publications that Vergara did in the last days of his birthday celebration.
