Among these, one of the most awaited for its upcoming debut is the Six Karma team, an organization from the Telcel Honor Division and which, starting this year, will be part of the highest professional circuit in the region.

So, prior to the Season Start, the squad also known as the Green Wave gathered the media and content creators in Mexico City, to welcome their main roster which will represent them in the LLA Opening split.

To open with the gala, Luis Fernando Martínez, CEO of Six Karma, spoke a bit about the origins of the team as an esports project of the Arena The Place to Play brand, so this next step was natural for the sector in the one that develops

“We are clear that we want to represent the region in international competitions in a dignified manner,” commented Luis Fernando. “These first years we worked hard and seriously within Mexico, so we are going to look for those championships and we will put all the effort and resources so that we have the perfect ecosystem.”

Subsequently, Miguel Laguna, deputy director of operations for Arena and Grupo Cinemex, entered the stage to announce the creation of a new 6K operations center, which will have all kinds of amenities for its professional teams. According to Laguna, its opening will be between March and April 2023.

Once the managers’ intervention was over, the introduction of the official roster began with the arrival of Hika “Hika” Reid, an Argentine signing who will join as a substitute in the bottom lane after his stint in the Master Flow League.

They will be joined by Cristian “cody” Quispe, Brian “Snaker” Distefano and Diego Angel “Shu Hari” Placencia, players with a good track record within the Latin American League and who had already been unveiled with the announcement of the arrival of 6K to the competence.

On the star signing side, An “Meaning” Ji-min will make his top level debut after several years playing in Korea’s second division. Together with him, Kim “OnFleek” Jang-gyeom will emigrate to the LLA after his time in squads like Hanwha Life and Liiv SANDBOX, in which he had decent appearances.

The technical staff will be headed by the multi-champion coach Rodrigo “Yeti” del Castillo, and by the Apertura 2022 champion strategist, Carlos “Fallen” Calderón. Both make their arrival at 6K after a successful stint with Team Aze, with whom they managed to reach the top and finish with good results last season.

“Our first objective is to establish ourselves in the league as protagonists, work super hard and consolidate ourselves to be able to think about the playoffs and later, the Mid-Season Invitational”, Yeti asserted. For his part, Fallen commented that the team was put together in the best possible way with the confidence of the organization, and that they have exactly the ingredients to repeat history with more ambition.

For now, we will have to wait a couple of weeks to find out the level of synergy and communication that the new Six Karma roster will show, but so far, it seems to be one of the most solid proposals for what will be the fight for the title. champion of the Apertura 2023.
