Second round of rationing begins: the points in Bogotá that will not have water

Water

Given the low level registered by the reservoirs, the Mayor's Office of Bogotá activated a plan to reduce water consumption and mitigate possible risks that may exist in the supply of the capital. To this end, the alternate suspension of the service was implemented.

(Read more: Water savings goal in Bogotá is still far from what was expected)

The nine zones that make up the measure have already completed the first cycle of cuts, so the rotation will begin again. This Saturday, April 20, the turn is for the neighborhoods and towns in zone 1.

Please note that in these parts of the city the service will be suspended for 24 hours, which start counting from 8:00 am

Thus, the areas that will be without water that day are: Antonio Nariño (23 neighborhoods), Barrios Unidos (53), Chapinero (18), Los Mártires (22), Puente Aranda (69), Rafael Uribe Uribe (28), Santa Fe (1), Teusaquillo (52), Tunjuelito (4) and Usaquén (16).

The cuts will be made:

Between Calle 116 and Calle 85, between Carrera 2 and Carrera 45.

Between Calle 85 and Calle 53, between Carrera 7 and Carrera 45.

Between Calle 85 and Calle 26, between Avenida Caracas (Carrera 14) and Carrera 68.

Between Calle 26 to Calle 44 Sur, between Carrera 6 and Carrera 68.
