The paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and the Sudanese Army have accused each other throughout the day of failing to comply with the three-day ceasefire after the United States announced an agreement for a cessation of hostilities the day before. in the African country.

They have also specified that their forces “have taken full control of the entire Bahri region and east of the Nile.” “We reaffirm our commitment to the declared truce and to help facilitate any measure or carry out any action that alleviates the suffering of our honorable people,” he sentenced.
The hostilities broke out in the context of an increase in tensions around the integration of the RSF -led by Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, alias ‘Hemedti’, who is also vice president of the Sovereign Transition Council– within the Forces Armed Forces, a key part of an agreement signed in December to form a new civilian government and reactivate the transition.
