Capcom is preparing for the premiere of the promising remake of resident evil 4. The Japanese company would take the opportunity not only to allow modern generations to experience a definitive version of the original game, but also one with improvements at the gameplay level and even at the level of the main story.
Capcom touted the project as a game that would retain the essence of the original title, but with a “reimagined story” and apparently that includes altering the events that occur in Leon and Ashley’s adventure.

The above is suspected from the new gameplay that Capcom shared. In the 12-minute video you can see several of the life enhancement mods that were planned to offer a more modern experience, such as aiming while Leon moves, listening to radio conversations without being interrupted by Leon’s actions, or kills with stealth. It is also possible to see the new character, the Brute, in action.
The gameplay (via Game Informer) is from the section where Leon and Ashley have to flee Los Ganados and later find themselves in the cabin with Luis. What is striking, however, is that these events occur in Chapter 2-2 of the original game, but in the remake gameplay it is seen to be part of Chapter 5.
In case you missed it: fans are not happy with an element of the remake of resident evil 4.
It is unknown if Capcom simply altered the numbering of the chapters, if they plan to alter the story to present these events differently, or if the order in which these specific events appear will be changed to improve the experience.
In any case, it should not take you by surprise, because let’s remember that with the remakes of resident evil 2 and resident evil 3Capcom took some creative liberties involving the story, especially in the remake of resident evil 3so it is very possible that in the remake of resident evil 4 have done it too.
