September 20 (Portaltic/EP) –

Apple has made available to users the New betas of the operating systems that integrate their devices -iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1- which can now be installed from the Settings section of each device and which integrate some of the functions powered by Apple Intelligence for US users.

The technology company unveiled the new features of its various operating systems last June, within the framework of the annual conference for developers (WWDC, for its acronym in English). At that time, those from Cupertino also advanced the characteristics of its New AI-powered ecosystem Apple Intelligence and said they would officially launch their new tools in the fall.

Thus, Apple officially launched this week the new version of its operating systems for iPhones (iOS 18), for tablets (iPadOS 18), for Mac computers (macOS Sequoia) and for their smart watches (watchOS 11), with all of its new features, except those powered by Apple IntelligenceAs he explained, these functions will be rolled out with the next beta version for users in the United States.

Now, users of the American technology company already can try out the new beta versions for iOS and iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1, which can now be installed from the Settings section of the device, as verified by media such as TechCrunch and The Verge.

Once inside the Settings, users must access the ‘General’ option and then click on ‘Software update’. After that, just click on Download the latest beta version to install it.

With this new public beta, Apple includes some Apple Intelligence features as is the case with the tool text rewriting, a revamped version of Siri and the option ‘Clean Up for Photos’ which allows you to remove objects from photographs.

However, for the moment, this AI-powered ecosystem only is available on devices set to US EnglishTherefore, its arrival in Europe, and specifically in Spain, is not yet planned.

With all this, it must be taken into account that only the ‘smartphones’ iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 16 and 16 Pro are the compatible models with these features. On the other hand, to use Apple Intelligence in the iPads and Mac computers, must have the M1 processor.

It is worth remembering that the first betas are primarily aimed at developersso that they can test the functions they offer and improve them for their official launch. Also, to be able to access them, those interested must register their Apple ID to sign up for the Apple Beta Software Program.

The technology company also plans to release the official versions of iOS and iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1 during the next month of October.
