PS5: what are the improvements of the new “revised” version of the Sony console

Until Sony makes the first configurations of the console Playstation 5. At the end of August, the Japanese giant began distributing the revised version of the PS5 in the international market. It is practically the same machine, but it has some changes inside that make it lighter.

Austin Evans is a youtuber who took the trouble to open the three versions of the PS5 (the two new ones listed as revised and the original). The latest model has significant changes inside, such as a smaller motherboard and a redesigned bay for the SSD storage drive. The cooling system also underwent changes.

To give you a better idea of ​​the changes made by Sony to the PS5, Austin Evans shared an image of the interior of the three consoles. The model on the right is the original (1000), the one on the left is the first revision (1100), and the one in the center is the most recent (1200).

The revised version (1200) weighs 200 grams less than the previous one and is more efficient in energy consumption. The youtuber specifies that he consumes between 20 and 30 watts less when playing.
