Polish Prime Minister threatens harsh retaliation for Russian collaborators

Remembers the arrest of several Polish citizens in recent days for their alleged links with Moscow and plans to attack

April 19 () –

The Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk, threatened this Friday with serious consequences for those who collaborate with Russian services, a forceful response from the head of Government following the cases of Polish citizens accused of collaborating with Russian services and planning attacks.

“There will be no leniency for collaborators of the Russian services. We will burn all betrayal and attempts at destabilization,” Prime Minister Tusk said on his official profile on the X social network.

In this message, Tusk has directly alluded to the case of a Polish citizen detained this week by the Prosecutor's Office and accused of maintaining ties with Moscow and helping to prepare a possible attack against the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.

Likewise, the Polish president has echoed the arrest of a Belarusian citizen accused of working for the Russian authorities and who had commissioned two Poles to murder one of the main allies of the deceased Russian opponent Alexei Navalny.
