Platform for cluster initiatives and other productive coordination initiatives launches second version of newsletter

The Community of Cluster Initiatives and other Productive Coordination Initiatives of ECLAC launched its second edition of the newsletter, which highlighted the meeting with different digital clusters from Latin America and the Caribbean, interviews with members of the National Cluster Network of the Automotive Industry of Mexico , the scope of 370 initiatives registered on its platform, among others.

To date, 370 IAPTs have been registered, involving around 72,000 companies, highlighting the integration of Brazil’s Productive Development Poles, organized into 14 integration rounds. These initiatives are recorded and visible on the platform’s interactive map.

Along with this, the newsletter highlights the progress of the Community of Cluster Initiatives in generating instances of conversation such as the meeting between digital clusters where countries such as Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba and Mexico participated. This meeting gave rise to a space for conversation to share experiences and proposals to build the digital agenda.

In addition, the cover of the bulletin highlights the seminar held on September 5, 2024, where specialists and academics from several countries debated the first edition of the publication “Panorama of Productive Development Policies in Latin America and the Caribbean, 2024” .

The objective of the newsletter is to highlight the main milestones in which the Community has participated and the progress of the IAPT Platform. It consists of main news, success stories, interviews with different experts in cluster initiatives and an agenda with upcoming events.
