Petro says that the minimum wage has grown 4 real points

Through a message published on his social networks, the Colombian president Gustavo Petro He highlighted several economic advances that, according to him, have occurred in his government.

According to the president, inflation was curbed and food prices began to fall. He also highlighted that the minimum wage has grown by 4 real points, while unemployment has fallen.

“We stopped general inflation, food prices began to fall, today the minimum wage has grown by 4 real points, unemployment has fallen, we are one of the OECD countries that grows the most, we went from fiscal deficit to primary surplus, multidimensional poverty has decreased”, President Petro wrote.

Last week, when the 2022 multidimensional poverty report was released, the Colombian president also wrote a message in which he highlighted that the figure reached historic lows and that in the headwaters of the country it reached 8.7%.
