Panasonic has presented its new Panasonic TV Premium televisions with the series OLED Z95B and Mini LED W95Bwhich arrive with integrated Fire TV, HCX Pro AI MK II processor and improved panels with the new Primary RGB Tandem in the case of OLED models.
The technology company has announced its new developments within the framework of the technology fair CES 2025, where it has shared its commitment to excellence in image quality, sound and connectivity with new products focused on movie buffs, gamers and users looking for a good home entertainment experience.
In this sense, Panasonic has presented its new series of televisions Z95B OLED, available in 55, 65 and 77 inch sizeswhich stands out for its new panel Primary RGB Tandem, a four-layer emission structure that refines the wavelength of light and increases color purity.
With this new panel, OLED televisions improve light efficiency by 40 percent, which translates into more brightness, more vivid colors and more faithful reproduction of images, as the company explained in a statement.
Likewise, along with the new Primary RGB Tandem panel, Panasonic has implemented a new ThermalFlow heat management system in the OLED Z95B series. With this self-developed system, the heat dissipation efficiency of the panel is improved through a method inspired by aerodynamic techniques “typical of racing car design.”
Thus, Panasonic has detailed that the chassis of the Z95B televisions have a redesigned airflow structurewith the ventilation grilles and subwoofers positioned in an optimized way. This ensures stable performance and prolongs the durability of the television, even after long hours of use.
Regarding their performance, the new OLED Z95B are equipped with the processor HCX Pro AI MK II and with the 4K Remaster Engine technology. With this, it combines Artificial Intelligence (AI) and mathematical models to offer an improved image when playing streaming content, with improvements in color grading and noise reduction.
Another technology included in the new series of OLED televisions is Dolby Vision IQ which, with Precision Detail technology and ambient light sensors, automatically adjusts image parameters based on surrounding conditions, offering superior HDR performance and highlighting all the details in images “even in dark scenes.”
Panasonic has also detailed that the new televisions include the mode Prime Video Calibrated Mode, which improves the content viewing experience on the Amazon Prime Video streaming platform, as it automatically optimizes image settings based on the type of content. Likewise, it is also compatible with the standards of Calman and ISFccc calibration to ensure color accuracy.
Likewise, these new televisions are also equipped with Fire TV integrated, bringing together multiple streaming services, applications and live television, as well as recommendations and a personalized home screen. Another feature that the technology has highlighted is the ‘Filmmaker’ buttonwhich allows you to disable unnecessary visual effects and optimize the brightness and color of the image, to “respect the director’s creative intention.”
In terms of sound, the new Z95B series has the Improved 360 Soundscape Pro soundsince the speaker system calibrated by the company’s engineers has been changed. This system includes line array speakers, side speakers and a 30W ‘subwoofer’, which has been repositioned to maximize bass.
Specifically, it has relocated a new woofer speaker and line array speakerswhich are now located on the front of the television covered by a “premium” fabric. With this, the firm ensures that the sound will be heard “just as its creators conceived it”, with compatibility with Dolby Atmos.
The design of these new Panasonic OLED televisions has been designed with “integrating technology into any home” in mind. To do this, the new Z95B have a completely flat design with premium fabrics and minimalist lines.
This series also includes an option of integrated voice controlwhich allows users to manage applications, play music or control smart devices, using voice commands from anywhere in the room.
MINI LED W95B
Panasonic has also presented its new line of televisions Mini LED W95Bwhich is available in versions of 55, 65, 77 and 85 inches and that includes advances compared to its predecessor, since it integrates more than double the number of backlighting areas.
As explained by the company, by activating each LED independently and increasing in 2.5 times the number of backlight zonesit has been achieved that the panel has a “even more precise” light control. This offers greater image contrast, more detail and a high capacity to reproduce colors, from deep blacks to brightness.
Following this line, the new Mini LEDs have also evolved in terms of color performance, since a high color range backlight system next to a real time color adjustment system based on ‘high color gamut baclighting system’.
Likewise, the new Mini LED W95B are also powered by the processor HCX Pro AI MK II, and include the mode Prime Video Calibrated Mode and fire tv integrated. In addition, they are also compatible with AirPlay to stream movies, music and photos from Apple devices, as well as connect with Apple Home.
Regarding sound, the new W95B televisions are equipped with a 20W woofer and options connection for external subwoofersalso has configuration options to provide a customizable listening experience.
Panasonic has also indicated that, when not in use, these televisions become dynamic displays with Fire TV Ambient Experiencewhich allows you to display personal photos or Alexa widgets, among others.
GAMING EXPERIENCE
In addition to all this, the technology company has indicated that both the OLED Z95B series and the Mini LED W95B have been designed with gamer users in mind. This is because both models include compatibility with AMD FreeSync Premiumin addition to offering a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
In this way, the screens eliminate ‘tearing’ and guarantee a smooth image for a fluid gaming experience. Likewise, the Z95B series stands out for being compatible with technology NVIDIA G-SYNC.
Likewise, both series include ultra low latencyin order to ensure that every action in the game is instantly reflected on the screen. Furthermore, with the True Game mode, offers professional precision settings for gaming.
Finally, continuing with the gaming advantages, Panasonic has pointed out that the new televisions also integrate Specialized sound modes for role-playing (RPG) and shooting gameswhich create a 3D audio experience.
