Many years ago, Nintendo organizes different online events to update their entire community with the games that will be released on their Nintendo Switch console. On February 8, the first Direct was held that presented several titles, such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of Kingdom.
After this great event, Nintendo has announced that there will be another Direct on March 9, but it will focus on a particular content. We will see new material from the film “The Super Mario Bros. The Movie”, which will premiere on April 7.
“On March 9 at 11:00 p.m. (peninsular time) don’t miss the world premiere of the final trailer for Super Mario Bros.: The Movie! In this #NintendoDirect we will not share information about games”, details the company statement.
You can follow the Direct through the official Nintendo YouTube channels. At this time, they have already shared the respective links with the countdown, despite the fact that there are still 14 days left. Interestingly, the title bears the name of “Final Trailer”.
Official Synopsis of “Super Mario Bros. The Movie”
From Illumination and Nintendo comes a new animated film based on the world of Super Mario Bros. The film will open in North America on April 7, 2023 and in Japan on April 27, 2023.
Directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic (collaborators on Teen Titans Go!, Teen Titans Go! To the Movies) from a script by Matthew Fogel (The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part, Illuminations’s Minions: The Rise of Gru), the film is Starring Chris Pratt as Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Charlie Day as Luigi, Jack Black as Bowser, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, Seth Rogen as Donkey Kong, Fred Armisen as Cranky Kong, Kevin Michael Richardson as Kamek, and Sebastian Maniscalco as Spike.
