Were you planning to play Nintendo Switch this week? We have bad news for you. It turns out that Nintendo announced a measure that could thwart your plans for this Sunday.
What happens is that, through its official site, Nintendo announced that it is planning maintenance for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U services. In the case of Switch there will be maintenance in the eShop and in network services, while on older consoles it will be for the store only.
Maintenance of the eShop will take place from 11:00 PM Mexico City time on Sunday, March 26 until 1:00 AM on Monday, March 27. For its part, the maintenance of the Switch network services will be from 10:30 PM, Mexico City time until 1:00 AM on Tuesday, March 28.

During the eShop maintenance process all related network services will be unavailable. On the other hand, the maintenance of the Nintendo Switch network services will cause some “network services to be unavailable”.
Nintendo does not explain more, so it is likely that this maintenance ends up frustrating some of your gaming sessions. We hope that doesn’t happen and you can have fun with your console connected to the Internet.
