Niantic, the development studio responsible for titles like Pokémon Go or Pikmin, has announced a new augmented reality video game about the NBA that extends the virtual court to the rest of the world.
NBA All World is the new title Niantic is working on. This will be released “soon” in beta phase in a limited number of marketswith which the company hopes to collect the experience of the participants to finish improving the game.
This game, like the others from Niantic, takes advantage of augmented reality to encourage players to go outside, only this time, “put on the sneakers of today’s NBA stars” to face one against one ” against the best players in the world.
The new title will propose neighborhood minigameswhich will allow when playing “become the king of the court“. There will also be items that can be picked up to upgrade the style.
